Tropical Storm Blues
Here in Maryland, Hurricane Jeanne isn’t much more than a lot of rain. But the gray skies and rainy weather is starting to get under my skin. I need a blue sky, in a big way right now. Unfortunately, it may be a couple of days before that happens. It’s only Tuesday, but it’s already been a long week.
In an effort to combat this blue funk I feel coming on, I purchased a Yoga DVD. I figure a little yoga my set my inner zen straight again. And if it helps me shed a few pounds, that’ll be fine by me. I went through the routine last night and didn’t have much trouble doing the poses in the 1/4 modified routine. If I can go a week or two with that I’ll move up to the un-modified routine.
I’m also going to get myself to the gym, again. I need to get my blood flowing. I had to take about two months off due to my damn gimpy knee. Thanks, to a new prescription of Celebrex, the knee is manageable if not great. I ought to be handle everything.
