Football Week 8

October 30, 2004

Ok Football time again. I picked 9-5 last week. Miami, Cincinnati, Arizona surprised me, and everyone else last week. My record for the season is still a very respectable 68-34. My picks for week 8:

4:05 PM Atlanta (5-2) vs. Denver (5-2) Broncos bounce back this week
4:15 PM Oakland (2-5) vs. San Diego (4-3) ‘Bolts (Chargers) win
1:00 PM Baltimore (4-2) vs. Philadelphia (6-0) Ravens win (yes you can just call me homer)
8:30 PM San Francisco (1-5) vs. Chicago (1-5) Bears win (some one has to win right?)
Monday, Nov 1, 2004
9:00 PM Miami (1-6) vs. New York NYJ (5-1) J-E-T-S win

My fantasy team, The Charm City Bruisers (3-4), lost again last week. By two points. If only Terry Glenn had completed the pass into the endzone. Bulger is on bye this week so we will hold our breath and go with the rookie, Carson Palmer. Luckily we are facing the Happy Horses (2-5) so we may have a chance.
